A number of Sooner Rotarians traveled to New Orleans for the Rotary International Convention. All had a great time and a lot of great information informing the participants of the impact their club has on Rotary projects was available. If you have a chance to attend an annual convention, do it! Next up in 2011: Bangkok, Thailand, early May.
 
District 5770 won an award at the Rotary International Convention for attendance per capita.

Today’s program featured Lieutenant Colonel Ty Bonner, US Army Reserves and member of the Oklahoma City Grassroots Advisory board. To improve the high school graduation rates of Oklahoma children, the US Army sponsored the development of march2success.com. This free website offers students and parents learning experiences to prepare for high school graduation and higher education if desired. Only Internet access is required.
