Dear Rotarians,
As we all continue to develop expertise with online meetings, we are going to try a new protocol to help improve the sound quality of the weekly meeting and recording. I am asking everyone to mute themselves once the meeting starts. We'll have one person lead us in singing "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning" while the rest of us are muted, singing along at home. We'll do the same thing with the invocation and Pledge/4-Way Test.
This week the program is all about Oklahoma. Mike Hearne, creator of the podcast This is Oklahoma, will join us virtually.
Here's Mike's bio:
Mike Hearne is a golfer, realtor and creator of This is Oklahoma. A podcast which tell stories of Oklahomans and those who’ve made this great state home. Mike was born in Bridgend, Wales. Moved to Oklahoma in August 2011 to play golf and study Marketing at Southern Nazarene University. He graduated in May 2015 passed his real estate exam and became a realtor. Mike created This is Oklahoma in July of 2017 and launched his podcast in May 2018. He has shared over 150 stories on his podcast and continues to spread the love about Oklahoma. Mike is 29 years old, lives in Yukon with his wife Taryn and two doodles Seve & Greggs.
