Sara King is the Community Health Education and Planning Lead for Cleveland, Grady, Hughes, McClain, Pottawatomie, and Seminole county health departments. She wears many hats, one of which includes being the Public Information Office during the COVID-19 response. She has a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and her Master of Public Health. Both of her degrees come from the University of Oklahoma and her birth certificate from Norman Regional hospital, so when she says she’s sooner born and sooner bred- she means it."

Archie is a charter member of the Cross Timbers Rotary club. He’s been the president of the Wewoka and Cross Timbers Rotary clubs. I know he was also a member of the Tecumseh Rotary club. He immigrated to the US from the Philippines in 1981 and became a US citizen in 1996. He worked as a MD with the Indian clinic in Wewoka and retired from that position. These days, he and I walk at the Sooner Mall most mornings. |
